Tuesday Triptych - Sci-fi Edition

i figured i'd try another one of these. Last week, the clear winner (and only player besides me) was the Dreamy Accessorizer, with a full complement of fairy tales. You can see the rules here. This time, your themes are Robots, Space Travel and Aliens. Good luck!

TV Shows
Robots: Small Wonder
Space Travel: Firefly
Aliens: Out of this World
Robots, Space Travel: Mystery Science Theater 3000
Robots, Aliens: Stargate Atlantis(*)
Space Travel, Aliens: Star Trek
Robots, Space Travel, Aliens: Star Trek: The Next Generation

(*) Yes, I know that a Stargate is a form of Space Transport, but one could argue the actual "travel" is happening outside of space and time.

Man, this triptych was hard! I salute both of you, since anything about video games, or anything that combines MST3K and Out of this World, very much wins just about any contest.

I tried the constraint of songs, this time -- and wasn't entirely successful. I think the choice for a song about Robots was good, but I was at a total loss for the Robots, Aliens category.

Robots: Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto by Styx
Space Travel: Rocketman by Elton John
Aliens: Purple People Eater, by Sheb Wooley
Robots, Space Travel: theme song from Mystery Science Theater 3000
Robots, Aliens: theme song from Transformers (maybe? Since they are techinically robot aliens)
Space Travel, Aliens: For Science, by They Might be Giants
Robots, Space Travel, Aliens: The Saga Begins, by Weird Al
None: Maxwell's Silver Hammer, by The Beatles

(Apparently people don't write songs about aliens, but do write about robots. I had similar problems thinking of any anime series about aliens. Also, apparently Isaac Asimov doesn't like writing about aliens either. Who knew this would be such a touch triptych?)

(Also also, what happened to being able to put my non-blogger URL into my comment?)

Oh crap! I forgot to do the null set: So, here goes:
NULL: Night Court

Funny thing: the last episode of Night Court actually had aliens in it.

No, I'm not making that up.
